is for Alençon lace.
Alençon lace or point d’Alençon is a needle lace that originated in Alençon, France. It is sometimes called the “Queen of lace.
Many of the gowns at POSH Bridal are adorned in this fabulous lace which we import from Calais, France. Janell Berte, POSH’s in-house designer has had the fabulous opportunity to tour the factory where the likes of Karl Lagerfeld and Christian Lacroix have also tread.

“Eyelashes” are the small threats that continue on the edge of Alençon lace. Eyelashes are a great way to tell that the lace is high quality and imported from France.
Keep an eye open for B tomorrow!
Cheers,
Jordan
