backyard bliss.

I fell in love with this couple’s decor for their wedding. If you have such a beautiful space just steps from your back door why not save some money and use it for your wedding?

Love their color palette as much as I do? Use it for your special day too! The pairing of blush and tangerine is perfect for an outdoor, summer wedding.

Cheers,

Jordan

Jordan’s spring favorites.

Spring Favorites

Spring has sprung!
A list of some of my personal spring favorites…

(clockwise)
Kate Sommerville Tanning Towelettes- These little towelettes keep my face looking naturally tan and they also keep me out of the tanning bed.
Givenchy T- This birds of paradise T by Givenchy is a spring staple, I can’t wait to get my hands on one.
Orlebar Swimming Trunks- Perfect for lounging by a rooftop pool.
Ernest Alexander Tote- The size of this bag is perfect for the beach and for work, and I adore the color.
Neon Sperrys- A chic reinvention of classic footwear.
Over-sized Aviators- I wouldn’t be able to live without mine. Perfect for your commute to early morning yoga.
Parc Bistro and Cafe- I love sitting at Parc’s outdoor tables in the spring. Parc overlooks Rittenhouse Square in the heart of Philadelphia and has the best menu for a light lunch and a cocktail.
What are some of your spring favorites?
Cheers,
Jordan

F is for…

Feathers

The newest addition to Bridal wear is feathers.

Brides are wearing them in their hair, in their bouquets, even on their dresses.

Feathers can also turn an everyday outfit into something fun and playful.

Au Revoir,

Hope

Ps. The feathers pictured above can be found at POSH Bridal. We have a beautiful feather dress, and an abundance of feather hairpieces.

E is for…

Earrings, Cluster Earrings to be exact…

Cluster Earrings

Celebrities, as we have seen on the red carpet,

have been flashing clusters of jewels on their ears.

This style of earrings is perfect for a wedding.

The clustered earrings do not take away from the gown,

but add enough bling to light up your smile on the big day.

Au revoir,

Hope

How to wear it: The White Blazer

My favorite trend of the spring season this year is the versatile white blazer. Whether you dress it up or wear it with a T-Shirt and jeans, a white blazer is the perfect piece to polish any outfit.

A Formal Occasion

White Blazer !

Dress your blazer up with a patterned silk dress, bold strappy wedges, and simple stud earrings.

Drinks with the Girls

White Blazer 2

Keep it chic yet laid back for a night out with the girls. Wear your blazer with a simple black T, dark flared jeans, blush pumps, and a statement necklace.

How do you wear your blazer?

beautifully understated.

POSH’s favorite twins, Ashely and Mary-Kate Olsen, continue to amaze us with their “beautifully understated” Fall 2012 collection for their fashion house, The Row. The duo was recently presented with the CDFA’s Womenswear Designer of the Year award and it is clear to see why.

We were pleased to see The Row’s signature “no-fuss” silhouettes and clean lines appear once more, letting the fabrics and color palette speak for themselves.

Enjoy a beautiful video compilation of Fall 2012 fashion show here!

5 DIY Gifts for Under $20

5 Gifts under $20
We have all had those times where we want to get our loved ones a fabulous gift, but we are just lacking in the money department. Here are 5 creative gifts under $20.

1. For the World Traveler:

Take an old cork board and cut the shape of the United States out of it. Get a poster board and paint the background a light blue color. Cut out colorful pieces of paper at 4 in. by 2 in. Place double stick tape on the back, fold in half over a sewing pin. Make about 25 of these. This can the be hung and is a great conversation piece.

2. For the Classy Girl:

Take a stamp pad and stamp it in ink. Roll Candle over the inked stamp. Let cool. Wrap a bow around the candle and attach a little note. This gift gives the look of an expensive candle for less.

3. For the Girl on the Run:

Ask for an extra Starbucks cup and lid when you are getting your morning coffee. Place gift card in the bottom of the cup. Line bottom of the cup with brown packaging paper. Put white tissue paper at the top to look like whipped cream and stick in a straw. Tie on a little note. This is a creative take for a gift card.

4. For the Vintage Junkie:

Look in thrift stores for some antique teacups. Melt candle wax in the cups and place a wick inside and let cool. Wrap together with some cute match sticks. This gift gives teacups a little twist and another use. Lady Gaga is often seen with a teacup. She claims that it keeps her grounded because she drank it as a kid with her mother. We even use teacups at POSH bridal! We drink all of our tea and coffee in Janell’s great aunts antique teacups.

5. For the Baker:

Search thrift stores for an old lunch pale to place the gift in. Take the odds and ends of cupcake liners you have acquired over the years, and add a few store bought ones. Add a few bags of sprinkles, an icing spreader, and some of your favorite cupcake recipes. You can even add a box of cupcake mix! The baking girl will love that she can now make some cute cupcakes.

I look forward to hearing about how you made these, or other, fabulous gifts for less!

Au revoir,
