What is the price range of your gowns?

Our gowns start at $1,690

POSH is a couture bridal shop with the majority of our gowns between $1,690 and $6,000. The average gown is around $2,300.  Should your budget be less, we have from time to time discontinued designer samples that might suit your fancy and budget.

When you come in for your appointment, your  stylist will help you choose gowns in a price range that you’re comfortable with.

While we never push you to spend more than you want, you are always free to try on any gown in the shop.

I don't see many gowns. Is that all you have?

By no means!

Our Posh stylists love to pamper, so let them do the running.  We have a rotating group of gowns on display, the rest will be brought to you based on your style needs and budget.

Plus, POSH is unique in having its own, in-house, award winning designer, Janell Berté, giving you a virtually unlimited selection of styles.

Do you carry bridesmaids dresses?

Sorry, no.

We cater to the styling needs of the bride… although our award winning in-house designer, Ms. Berté, is happy to design custom dresses for wedding parties and mothers.

What sizes are your samples? Will I fit?

Samples are between size 8 and 12

The majority of our samples are between size 8 and size 12, with a few samples for curvier brides up to 20.

BUT… Wedding gowns tend to be two sizes smaller than our everyday clothes. We have clips and modesty panels for your stylist to use to help you visualize how a gown will fit.

Can I take pictures?

After you purchase!

At the request of our designers, we do not allow cameras in the fitting rooms while you are shopping. However, once you have purchased a dress, you may take as many pictures as you’d like.

Do you make alterations?

Yes, we do!

Most gowns require at least 2 alteration appointments in the 4 weeks before the wedding.

Alterations are priced by the hour and their cost depends on the amount of changes and adjustment necessary.

We only provide alterations on garments purchased from POSH.

Do I need an appointment?

Yes please.

To give you the best service we strongly suggest an appointment.  Walk-in’s are assisted as stylists are available.

How long are your appointments?

Around 90 minutes.

Our standard bridal appointment is 90 minutes, longer if you need it.  We don’t want you to feel rushed.

However, if you need more than 90 minutes, we suggest a weekday appointment.

What should I bring?

Your smile… and pictures!

Bring a few pictures to give your stylist  an idea of what you’re looking for!  For your modesty and ours, please bring or wear proper undergarments like nude colored underwear and a strapless bra. We have a variety of shoes to help you visualize the full effect of the gown but feel free to bring your own pair.

We are a small boutique, so we suggest you bring no more than 3 trusted family members or friends.  If you’re bringing more, let us know.


Oh, and most important… bring your smile and an open mind.

What do I bring to my alterations appointment?

Your wedding shoes!

By the time of your alterations you should have the undergarments and shoes you hope to be wearing the day of your wedding.

Without your shoes, we can not adjust your hem and you will need to reschedule your appointment.

How long does it take to order a gown?

It depends.

Gowns typically take between 3-6 months to arrive.  Custom gowns can be crafted in under 2 months. Some gowns come from Europe or even the Middle East.  Each designer is different, so please ask.

When do I pay for my gown?

50% down

Typically brides pay 50% down at time of ordering with the balance paid when your gown arrives.

Alterations are paid for separately when complete.

We accept all major credit cards.  Your gown (except floor samples) is typically made-to-order and is non-refundable or returnable.
